Target Tuesdays

Sorry this is so late, I was working all morning, and am just dragging today.
The big Cheerios deal:
Buy 4 boxes get $5 Target gift card
use these coupons:
$.60/1 coupon from my green side bar
So you should be able to print each of these twice and get 12 boxes of Cheerios using the gift cards for $.56 a box or $6.80 total!
So get out there and get your Cheerios!
Buy the way I spent most of the morning marking down most of the back-to-school department to 75% off. I stocked up on 5-pack notebooks for $.12, loose leaf paper $.12, composition notebooks $.12 and tons of other stuff. Scissors are a great deal right now too!

Web Site Wednesday

I wanted to tell you guys about a cool new website that I found: FindSavings.com. It pretty much has all the online stores we use everyday all in one spot, with different deals and coupons right there.
They have the whole store directory alphabetized, so it is easy to click on the letter to find what you are looking for. They have the most popular coupons all sorted, with coupons for stores like Best Buy & Expedia. And there is even a New Coupon link, for such coupons like Kohl's. Lets face it, who doesn't love shopping sales at Kohl's? The link I like the best is under the new coupons page there is a sort for % off coupons, free gifts with purchase, rebate items, free shipping and dollars off coupons. It makes it easy to find exactly what you need, no matter if it is a particular store, or just browsing for a birthday present for a niece or nephew.
I plan on doing some serious Christmas shopping this way. There is a link for 50% off tops and jeans at Aeropostale, there is a 5% off code for All About Dance, and there are tons of coupons for Home Depot which works for the men in my family.
Other popular stores include: Old Navy, OverStock.com, Target, Wal-Mart, and even Game Stop for the kids. I think this is the easiest way to find coupons codes for online shopping, and convenient shopping for hundreds of stores all in one place.
I have started my Christmas shopping a few months ago, but here is another great way to get a jump start without having to get out of your PJ's and slippers. Be sure to look for the free shipping codes to get the shipping for free too!
Post a comment to let me know what you found, there is so much I am sure I have overlooked a few great deals. And you know how much I love a great deal!

Am I feeding my childs addiction?
I think the answer is yes.
My youngest boy is addicted to Pop-Tarts. So much so that I have to put them on the high shelf so he doesn't keep "helping himself" to more of them when I am not looking.
Well with the great sale at Target this week, I was doomed. I have taken a picture of my purchases, and I will post it as soon as my regular computer is working. (I am using the kids computers in the mean time) I ended up with 44 boxes of Pop-Tarts! Yes, you saw right 44 boxes, of the 12 count boxes. That comes to 528 individual Pop-Tarts! The best part is I only paid $35 and some change for them all.
I have them hidden as best I can in my walk in pantry right now, so little hands can't get them. But I am afraid it is only a matter of time before he finds them. (Imagine a cartoon light burst around them as his eyeballs are popping three feet out of his head) At that point I will have to find a higher up hiding place for them. I am hoping that they should last right through the New Year. We are still working on 6 more boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats too.
I will post the picture as soon as my computer is working.
How many Pop-Tarts did y'all end up with?
Not sure about the Pop-Tart deal at Target? Well, when you buy 4 boxes of 12 count Pop-Tarts for 4/$9 you get a $5 Target gift card. You can also use the Target $.50 coupon for Pop-Tarts here. Be sure to print as many coupons as Pop-Tarts you plan to buy. So if you do a few transactions in a row, using the gift cards you got in the previous transaction, they end up costing $2/4 boxes. Plus there were manufacture coupons in the paper a few weeks ago that you can stack with the Target coupons.
So that is why I am stocking up on them. I just hope I can keep him from finding them as long as possible.

Web Coupon Wednesday

OK, hopefully I can get back into the swing of things here. I have been driving my kids to dance camp this whole week (next week to), so i will try to get better with the timing of my posts. Just think it is almost back-to-school though!
This week hits where I needed the most help getting ready for the birthday party.....cleaning supplies. I hate cleaning as my good friends and family already know. But if I have to clean, I am going to get my supplies at the best price I can.

You Know Your In To Coupons When.....
This is a list I compiled throughout the last few weeks. The very sad part is all of these actually happen in my home. I am sure you other coupon hunters have very similar situations...right?
You know your into coupons when...
...Your daughter asks her friends parents if she can have their coupon from the top of their Oreo cookies.
...Your toddler asks to practice his scissor cutting, by cutting pretend coupons.
...You have enough toothpaste and deodorant stashed away to last the rest of your life.
...Your son dashes through parking lot traffic because you dropped two coupons.
...Your husband asks for the pile of coupons before heading out to pick up a few things.
...You are telling the cashiers where to find coupons from their store.
...You find yourself stopping other shoppers to give them an extra coupon for something they are holding.
...You have got your friends addicted to coupons too.
...You plan your whole week around a Walgreens $3/$10 coupon.
...Your kids go through the Sunday coupons to see what they are having for lunch that week.
...Your daughters friend (yes you Courtney) calls you to tell you about Dollar Days at County Market.
...You are handing out diaper coupons to friends that have little ones.
...Finding a new $3/$15 CVS coupon makes your day.
...You take a friend shopping to show her how low your bill can go.
...You have enough free pads and tampons to last into menopause.
...Your coupon box has morphed into shoebox size.
...Your checking different blogs everyday for the latest coupons to print.
And lastly,
...Your blogging about those new coupons to help others save money too!

New Coupons to Print on the Side!

Have you notices a new look to the side bar on the left? You are now able to print coupons right from my site!
Why would I offer this you ask? Well you might be surprised to know that I don't make ANY money doing this blog. The only money I generate is in the savings to my personal grocery bill each month. Coupons.com will pay me a few cents each time you print one of their coupons from my site.
Once again, I won't get rich, but I will make a little to help cover my pop & snacks that I am always eating while doing my blog. I won't EVER charge you a fee to read my blog to help you save money. I can't understand blogs charging a monthly fee for something that is supposed to save you money.
Here is how the coupons work: You can click QUICK PRINT if the coupon you want is already showing on the screen. Or you can click SHOW ALL COUPONS. A second smaller screen will pop up and show you all the tons of coupons that are available to print at Coupons.com right now.
It couldn't be easier!
So if you are in the habit of printing coupons from my site anyway, I would appreciate the print from my side bar. If the cash starts to roll in, I will also keep you up to date on the totals. I like to show you how I make a little extra cash using the Internet. Hopefully soon my running total at Coupons.com will be on the side bar as well.
THANK YOU FOR CLICKING!!!
