What to Do This 4th of July Weekend

Free Red Box Movie Rental Code: EGIZER5

On this 4th of July weekend, I was hoping there was a web site that you could enter your zip code and there would be a list of fireworks displays in your area. I can not find one particular web site that offers that. I suppose it would be alot of work, but I could not find any. My suggestion is to Google "fireworks displays" and your closest big town, and see what pops up.

This is the best list I have found for the Twin Cities Area Firweworks Displays.

And just for fun, our local CBS news station WCCO has a free build your own virtual fireworks display with different music. It is kind of fun, the kids would get a kick out of it! You can click here to try it out yourself.

St. Paul's popular Fourth of July festival at Harriet Island features more than 50 food vendors and three stages of free entertainment (including, for the first time, one devoted to Christian music). This year's line-up includes REO Speedwagon, Eddie Money, and possibly, a senate candidate debate! Fireworks light up the sky nightly at 10:20pm. Lots of booths also offer giveaways and activities. Check the website for a full listing of events. Park in downtown St. Paul (free shuttle transport provided to and from the park) or take mass transit.
